My Applications FAQs
What do all the colored dots mean?

The colored dots represent the status of a specific section (step) of your application. Because each section can have multiple reviewers, there can be multiple statuses, with each represented by a colored dot.

For more information about statuses, see the Track Your Application article.

What do the orange exclamation marks (next to the application section/step name) stand for?

When you're completing an application, an orange exclamation mark beside a section (step) name means that at least one required field in that section has not been completed.

When all fields have been filled out, and you've clicked the Save and Proceed button on the section, the exclamation mark will turn into a green checkmark.

For more information, see the Create an Application article.

What do the green checkmarks (next to the application section/step name) stand for?

When you're completing an application, a green checkmark beside a section (step) name means that you've completed all of the required fields for that section.

If you're still missing required information, you'll see an orange exclamation mark instead.

For more information, see the Create an Application article.

How to view PDF in the browser?

  2. Select Privacy and Security in the left menu

  3. Click Site Settings

  4. Scroll down to the "Content" section, click Additional content settings, and select PDF documents.

  5. Select Open PDFs in Chrome.

Steps to Configure Microsoft Edge to Open PDFs:

  1. Go to edge://settings/content/pdfDocuments.

  2. Ensure that "Always download PDF files" is turned off if you want them to open directly in the browser, or on if you prefer to save them first.

Why can't I submit my application?

Eproval has a built-in validation system that ensures applicants answer all applicable required fields. All fields that are NOT marked as Optional are Required.

If you attempt to submit your application without all of the Required fields completed, the system will generate an error and redirect you to the section with the missing Required information. If an orange exclamation mark is showing next to the section name on the left column, the section has not yet passed system validation.

When you've completed all of the Required information, click the Save and Proceed To Next Step button at the bottom of the section. The step is complete and has passed system validation when it is marked with a green check mark.

Try reviewing the information provided on the section, enter any missing required information, and click Save and Proceed to Next Step again to see if the section passes validation.

For more information, see the Create an Application article.
