Find an Application

Your Dashboard gives you quick access to all open applications. However, if you want to open applications for past events, or if you have a large number of open applications, you can use the powerful search capabilities to find your specific application.

Steps

1. To access the search, click the Applications link at the very top of the page. You can access this from anywhere in Eproval and it lists all applications associated with your account.

   

2. By default, the page will list all applications, sorted by the ID#. Use the following filters to narrow your results, either alone or in combination:

   

   • A. Application Type: Select the specific type of permit application you're looking for, such as a Special Event or Film permit. The options here will depend on the permit types your public agency offers.

   • B. Categories: If your public agency groups types of applications by different categories, you can select that category here.

   • C. Date: Click in the fields to use the calendar to choose a date range to filter by. This uses the event's Start Date.

   • D. Statuses: Select the dropdown to filter on applications with a specific status. By default, all statuses are selected, and you can include multiple statuses in your search.

   • E. Search: Enter text or numbers to search the displayed information. For example, you could enter 2025 to show all applications with 2025 dates, or you could enter text from the application title.

3. Once you've entered in your filters, you can also click on any of the Column Headers to modify how the results are sorted. You can only sort by one column at a time.

4. To open the application, click the link in the Application Name.
