Options When You're Missing Application Information
When you first start creating your application for submission, it's likely that you don't have all of the information you need. While you may be starting your application months from the events date, some details just can't be determined or finalized until closer to the date. But you still need to get the process rolling to ensure the timing of your permit.
Options
Some of the options will depend on the application rules for your public agency. However, common options include:
Filling out the application as you get the information you need. Prior to your application's submission, Eproval lets you complete sections in any order you like, and the information gets saved as you enter it. You can complete the application over several days, adding the information as you gather it, in any order that you like. Once you submit the application, however, this option is no longer available. See the Complete Application Sections topic for more information.
Agree to submit the information by a specified deadline. When it's common for applicants to be missing information when submitting the application, certain application sections may have an acknowledgement for you to select, saying you'll submit the information later. This lets you submit your application to start the review process, but you'll still need to submit the information later in order for your application to get approved.
After You've Submitted Your Application
Once you've submitted your application, you can provide information in different ways:
Adding comments and files to a specific application section. You can do this on your own or in response to a request for more information. See the Add Comments and Files topic for instructions.
Amending your application. If your public agency supports this, you may be asked to amend your application to provide missing information. This lets you go back in and add information in the same way as when you first submitted the application, filling in fields and uploading files. See the Amend an Application topic for instructions.
