Track your Application
Understanding where your application is at in the review process is important. However, just knowing that your application is being reviewed isn't quite enough information. You want to know how far along in the review process your application is: what's been done and what's still remaining.
Eproval gives you 24/7 access to all of that vital information. Not only are there multiple places where you can easily determine the overall status of your application, you can drill down to each section in your application and see exactly where everything is at in the review process. Eproval uses a unique system of text, colors, and dots so you have all of that information at your fingertips.

While each public agency may have specific wording around each status, general guidelines are:
Brown, for Not Yet Reviewed: This is the initial status for a submitted application. It means that the review process hasn't yet begun, either for the application as a whole, or for individual sections.
Blue, for More Info Needed: This indicates that more information is needed for the review process to continue. Generally, this is accompanied by a comment letting you know what information is required.
Orange, for Under Review: Used to indicate that the review process has begun, either on the application as a whole, or for individual sections.
Red, for Declined: This means your application or individual section did not meet the review criteria. However, a consultation process usually occurs before this status is selected.
Green, for Approved: This indicates your application or section has met the review criteria and has been approved. Note that even though individual sections may be approved, your permit or license won't get issued until the overall application status is Approved.
Grey, for Not Applicable (or Draft): You'll see this status before your application has been officially submitted. It may also be used on a specific section to indicate that the assigned reviewer for that section did not need to complete a review, based on the event details.
Steps
See the Overall Application Status
There are two places where you can see the overall status of your application.
On your Dashboard you can see the status of all open applications in the My Applications area. The Status column shows the status for each.
When you open the application, at the very top you can see the overall status of the application. This shows both the text and color-coded dot for the status.
See the Individual Section Statuses
While the overall application has a status, each of the sections within the application have their own status. So even though the application status is Under Review, some sections could be already approved, while other sections could be needing more information, just starting to be reviewed, or not yet begun the review process.
And because sections can have more than one reviewer, that means they can have more than one status at any given time. For example, The first reviewer may have approved the section already, the second reviewer may have just started the review process, and the third reviewer may not have begun. These easily be seen in two ways:
When you open an application in review and scroll down to the sections being reviewed, you'll see a series of dots beside the section title. These correspond to both the number of reviews on a section and the status of each of the reviews. The number of dots correlates directly to the number of reviewer: four dots equals four reviewers for that section, two dots means two reviewers for that section, and so on. The color of each of those dots correspond to the status of each review for that section - and you can also hover over the dots to get the text version - showing you the statuses for that section at a glance.
When you click the carat icon beside the section title to open that section, you can see the details of those statuses. This shows the name of each department or agency responsible for reviewing that section along with the status of their reviews. And you can see that these statuses correspond to the colors of the dots beside the section title.
As you go through the sections in your application, you can get a sense as to how far along they are in the review process, and how much has to be done before an approval can be granted. Also, pay close attention to the Blue dots. These indicate that more information has been requested from you and that you have action to take on your application.
