Understand Your Dashboard

After you login to Eproval, the first place you'll go is your Dashboard. Each user has a unique dashboard that provides quick and easy access to all applications associated to the account. These applications may still be in draft form - meaning you haven't submitted it yet - or they could be approved, declined, or still in the review process, as long as the event date hasn't already passed. If you need to see applications for past events, see our Find an Application topic.

Dashboard Information Areas

At a glance, the dashboard gives you vital information on open applications.

  1. My Applications: Shows all applications you currently have open. This means applications you've either started or submitted, and the event date hasn't yet passed.

  2. Application Name: Combination of the Type or application you applied for (such as a Special Event Permit) and the name of your event.

  3. Application ID#: Each application has a unique ID for tracking. If you have multiple applications of the same name, this can be helpful for discerning between them.

  4. Start and End Date: The start and end date of the proposed event. For one day events, these will be the same date.

  5. Last Updated: The last time the application was updated by you, the Permit Managers, or a Reviewer.

  6. Status: The current status of your overall application. For more information on the different statuses, see the Track Your Application topic.

  7. Actions: Any available extra actions you may be able to take on your application. These will vary based on public agency and could include actions such as printing or duplicating an application.

  8. Information Requests: Any open requests you have from the Permit Manager or Reviewers for more information. If you have provided the requested information, this notice will disappear after the Permit Manager or Reviewer updates the status.

Dashboard Actions

There are multiple actions you can quickly take from your dashboard, making this the go to area for working with applications. Most of these actions have associated topics, which are noted below.

  1. Application Link: Easily access the application by clicking on the Application Name. See the Track your Application topic.

  2. Create Application: Click to start a new application. See the Create an Application topic.

  3. Older Applications: Access applications where the event date has already passed. See the Find an Application topic.

  4. Amend Application: If applicable, this allows you to go back into a submitted application and add to or modify the information on a specific section. This is only used in limited circumstances. More often, you're asked to submit additional information through comments. See the Amend an Application, Add Comments and Files, and Respond to Email Notifications topics.
